In-Game Ads Losing Their Luster?

In-game ads are on the decline.  According to a survey by Forrester Research just 18% of marketers are using in-game ads. Last year, 24%  of respondents said they were using in-game marketing. Given all of the hoopla over the game industry’s failure to make a profit on game sales, many have been looking to in-game ads to bring in more revenue. But it looks like only 33% of respondents to Forrester’s survey were planning on using in-game ads to sell their products.
