Every year bloggers around the world share new blogs with their readers. According to BlogDay.org, “BlogDay was created with the belief that bloggers should have one day dedicated to getting to know bloggers from other countries and areas of interest”. So without further ado you’ll find my recommendations. I hope you all enjoy them. Happy Blog Day everyone!
1. The Only Living Boy in New York
If you want to know what life in the Big Apple is like please check out Michael Elwood’s blog, The Only Living Boy in New York. You won’t find shallow, trumped up stories about life in the big city (cough*sex and the city*cough). Instead, you’ll find colorful vignette’s painted with honesty and a touch of humor. Michael describes the passing moments New Yorkers experience with clarity and grit.
Scott is the kind of guy that makes me feel like I’m not doing enough. He’s young (he just turned 20) and incredibly productive. I also wish I had discovered his blog when I was still in college. His e-book, Learn More, Study Less, is an awesome read. I like adsorb massive amounts of information on random topics (via websurfing) every now and again. Scott’s e-book has made my internet surfing much more productive.

3. M-Cause: Starting New Conversations about Marketing and Purpose
M-Cause is written by Ryan Jones, a brand manager for Proctor and Gamble. Unlike some marketers and pr practitioners he’s intensely interested in meaningful marketing. The thing I love about him is that he asks great questions. For example, “Are Marketers amoral or do consumers just comply?” or “Affiliate Blogging…how much transparency is needed?”. I admire his effort to bring the profession to a higher, more thoughtful level .
4. Xorsyst.com: Anime, Gaming, Videos and Japanese Culture. I LOVE Japan!![]()
If you’re into anime and Japanese culture then you must run over to read Xorsyst.com. It’s a beautifully designed and well-written blog by my twitter friend, Louis. Check in daily for nuggets of insight into Japanese modern day life, pop culture and gaming.

Bitburo.net is an up and coming gaming news and review blog. The site launched last month as a collaborative project from a number game enthusiasts and writers from around the world. Nick, the Editor in Chief, frequently updates his blog with crisp commentary and gaming news.
